Jeroen Romeijn

Jeroen Romeijn is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Public Administration at Leiden University. His main research interests are political representation, political parties, interest groups and public opinion. The dissertation he is working on investigates who political parties listen to when they take positions on policy issues. Do they follow the average voter, voters who are ideologically close to them, or do they (also) listen to interest groups?
